War?

War has never has been the answer. We have to find a way to sit down and come to an agreement with these people. I constantly hear that all they want is blood; well I find that hard to believe. No rational person wants to destroy other people for the sake of destruction, especially when they run the risk of self-destructing. If we can find a way to talk to one another, we can stop living in this primitive system of violence. We claim to be advanced animals, yet we act like uncommunicative cavemen.

In the meantime, we can watch as another generation is taught hatred and violence as means to "peace". They will learn that the only true way to live in peace is to kill those who do not share your idea of peace (i.e. Dr. King, Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, Jesus, Mohandas Gandhi, JFK, Bobby Kennedy, etc.). As we continue through this Life failing to honor, respect, or even remember the past, we make the question, "What Would Jesus Do?" a marketing slogan instead of a viable question to pressure Christians to live a better existence. We have somehow made it okay to be moral-less in the business world, but virtuous on Sunday; completely blind to the affects that our business decisions have on the lives of others. We can't be both a profiteer and a pious person at the same time. Just as it is impossible to advance world peace through war and violence!
